Puzzle #24 (Monday, June 15, 2026) is an early-week NumGrid — Monday and Tuesday puzzles are calibrated for shorter solve times and smaller-digit-length targets (4-digit instead of 5). The target avoids repeated-digit edge cases that complicate the per-digit feedback rule, and the expected number of guesses for a competent solver falls in the 3-4 range rather than the 4-5 range of harder days.

Mid-month NumGrid puzzles run the standard calibration for their day of the week. Puzzle #24 is one of those — neither early-month restart material nor late-month closing material, just the representative middle-of-the-month difficulty band.
